Carla-Marie Lynch, School Principal

Ballet, Tap, Modern & Jazz

‚Äč

This story, like so many others, starts with a little girl of 3 years old. Her name was Carla Sherwood. After spending a little while in the babies class, Carla got a taste of stage life when she performed in the Schools show to the nursery rhyme "Hickory Dickory Dock". 30 years on and Carla is still with the same school, The Runnymede School of Dancing.

Carla's dedication to dancing presented an opportunity to aquire the school in 2003, turning Carla from teacher to school principal.

Over time there have been other changes, like the addition of a little girl but her passion for dancing has never wavered.

Carla became a mum in 2015 and now has a new sense of what an acheivement dancing can be to the smallest of people and just hopes that her passion can be passed on to others.
